The six things people call us about

Most PC problems are the same handful of faults wearing different clothes. Here is what people actually describe — and what TuneBit does about it.

Slow

“It takes five minutes to start up”

TuneBit trims what launches with Windows, applies the performance tweaks that actually move the needle, and shows you which programs are eating the machine while you wait.

Full

“I keep running out of space”

Junk, browser caches, duplicate photos and leftovers from programs you uninstalled years ago. TuneBit maps what is using your drive and clears the safe parts for you.

Stuck

“Windows Update refuses to install”

One of the most common faults on Windows, and one of the fiddliest to fix by hand. TuneBit runs the eight standard repairs for it in order, in one click.

Crashing

“It crashed and I have no idea why”

TuneBit reads the crash dump Windows leaves behind, tells you in plain English which driver or component was responsible, and hands you a ready-made search term.

Offline

“The internet stopped working”

Before it changes a thing, TuneBit checks where the connection actually breaks — adapter, DNS, gateway, proxy — then resets only the part that is wrong.

Cluttered

“It came full of software I never asked for”

Remove the preinstalled apps and trial software that shipped with the machine, plus anything you installed once and forgot, leftover files and all.

How it works

Three steps, and none of them are technical

You do not have to know which tool you need. TuneBit works that out and puts a button next to it.

  1. 1

    Press Scan

Ten checks across your drives, memory, updates, security and crash history, in under a minute. Nothing is changed while it looks.

  2. 2

    Read your score

You get a score out of 100 and a plain-English reason for every point you lost — “your drive is 94% full”, not “volume utilization threshold exceeded”.

  3. 3

    Press Fix

Each problem has a fix beside it. TuneBit backs up first where it matters, then tells you exactly what it changed — and lets you put it back.

The fine print, up front

What TuneBit will never do to you

Everyone in this category promises to speed up your PC. These are the promises that are harder to make.

No bundling

Never install anything else

No toolbar, no antivirus trial, no pre-ticked box on a screen you were meant to skim past. The installer installs TuneBit.

No upsell nags

Never interrupt you to sell

All 34 tools work on every plan, so there is no Pro tier to nag you about — and no card kept on file to auto-renew.

No telemetry

Never report back on you

No analytics, no usage statistics, no inventory of your machine. What TuneBit finds out about your PC is shown to you and stays there.

No surprises

Never change things silently

Every action is logged as it happens, and a restore point is taken before the ones that touch Windows — so anything can be walked back.

No bundling, no upsell nags, no telemetryand how to check each one yourself. Changed something you did not want changed? Here is how to undo it.

TuneBit vs. CCleaner, IObit and iolo

And what it costs

Price comparison between TuneBit and three competing PC utilities
Product Typical price PCs covered Renews itself?
TuneBit Personal $19.97 / year Up to 5 No — you buy each year, nothing auto-charges
TuneBit Technician $44.97 / year Unlimited client PCs No — you buy each year, nothing auto-charges
CCleaner Professional ~$24–30 / year 1 (Plus tier: 3) Yes, typically
IObit Advanced SystemCare Pro ~$20–30 / year 3 (varies by tier) Yes, typically
iolo System Mechanic ~$40–50 / year Unlimited home PCs Yes, typically
Doing it yourself $0 However many you are willing to type on

To be fair about it: we make TuneBit, so read the table with that in mind. Feature lists come from each vendor's own documentation and list prices move with whatever promotion is running that week — check before you buy. CCleaner in particular does the first two rows very well, and if junk and browser cleaning is genuinely all you want, it will do that job. And yes, every repair TuneBit runs is a Windows command you could type yourself for free; what you are paying for is knowing which one, and having it undo itself if you were wrong.

Before you ask

The four questions everybody has

Will it break anything?

No, and it is built so that it cannot quietly try. TuneBit takes a restore point before the big repairs, backs up drivers and registry keys before it touches them, and writes every single change to a log you can read. Anything risky asks first and can be undone.

Do I need to know anything about computers?

No. Open it, press Scan, and you get a health score out of 100 with a plain-English reason for every point you lost. Each problem has a Fix button next to it. There is no command line and nothing to configure.

Is this a subscription?

No. You buy a year, and when the year is up nothing happens automatically — no card on file, no renewal to remember to cancel. If you want another year you come back and buy one.

What if it does not help?

Tell us within 30 days and we refund you in full. You can also download and run the whole app before paying anything, so you can see what it finds on your machine first.

The download is free and it is the whole app — scan your machine, see what it finds, and decide afterwards whether it is worth $19.97. If it does not earn its keep in the first month, we refund you.
